Nicole started skiing when she was 3 years old in Vail, USA. At the age of 7 she began her race career training with Glasgow Ski Racing and continues to do so when she's home. She regularly attended their annual training camp in October to Tignes and from there she joined FAST training group who took her to the British Championships in Meribel. Nicole would go on an annual holiday to Mont - Tremblant with her parents where she would also train with the local club. During the off season, Nicole would compete in the artificial and indoor circuits while balancing her studies at Craigholme School. She left school in 2013 and went on to pursue her ski career.

For two seasons now, Nicole has been training with a French group called Orsatus who are based in Meribel. She is planning to ski with Orsatus again this season starting with the Argentina camp in Summer. Her ambitions this season are to race some Europa Cup's and in the next couple of years be racing at a competitive level. Her long term ambitions are to race on the World Cup circuit achieving a  top 30 finish and represent Great Britain at the Olympics. She has had support from the QTS group and Rossignol UK which helps her massively towards her goals.
