Alex grew up skiing in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and started ski racing from a young age. After he finished his high school education in Steamboat, he decided to take two years off to pursue skiing and make a Division 1 college ski team in America. Therefore he decided to move to Sugar Bowl California and be a part of their ski academy program. Alex had two wonderful and successful years there, and was able to make the University of New Mexico alpine ski team and is currently a freshman on the squad. This a very high level ski team and has been ranked in the top three ski teams in America several times along with producing several NCAA champions. He is proud to represent both Great Britain and UNM for the next four years and hopes to one day ski for his country in the Olympics.

Alex's season goals are to qualify for NCAA finals as a freshman in college, to ski in a World Cup for Great Britain, to compete at the Junior World Championships, and be in the top 5 NCAA skiers in the country by his senior year of college.
