Injury management

A multi-disciplinary team of practitioners aiming to provide best medical practice to deliver a comprehensive well informed injury and wellbeing practise. In addition to providing intensive injury management and athletic performance strategies to our main team athletes it is our aim to provide well informed integrated education and injury advisory services The main management team are supported by a vast National network of practitioners to provide expert care in:

  • Sports medicine
  • Physiotherapy
  • Injury Rehabilitation
  • Strength & Conditioning
  • Gymnastics/Acrobatic coaching

Injury, athletic development and educational pathways provide structure for the injury reporting, rehabilitation and athletic development.

Ensuring best practise education and a leading practitioner advice will we believe will enhance an athlete’s recovery or athletic development.

Team Athlete Injury Notification

FIS Injury Status

Please contact the office if you wish to go on FIS Injury Status.

You will be required to fill out an Injury Status Form, and submit a supporting medical note from your doctor. 

Medical Insurance for Snowsports

British Ski and Snowboard and BSS staff are NOT qualified to provide advice on financial service (insurance) products.  You should take any advice that you feel you need before choosing a product of this type.  We have been advised by broker, Mark King, in selecting this product. If you choose to use this arrangement it is your choice to do so and this agreement will be between you and the broker, Mark King.
