Lewis Courtier-Jones

Lewis first started snowboarding when he was 3 years old as during the winter months he was living in the French ski resort of Courchevel. At 10 years old, he attended a snowboard camp, was selected for the British Team and shortly afterwards started picking up his first sponsors.

At 13 years old, Lewis was champion for his age group both at the British and French championships. In 2009, he won his first European competition the Burton Am in Adelboden Switzerland.

In 2010, Lewis came 8th in Slopestyle and 9th in Halfpipe at the European Junior Open. In 2012, he took 1st place at the World Rookie Halfpipe Champs. However for Lewis, his highlight so far is representing Team GB at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in 2012 at Innsbruck Austria, where he came 14th in Halfpipe and 16th in Slopestyle.

Lewis's favourite discipline is Halfpipe.
