Colin started skiing before the age of 4. He has lived in France at the foot of the Jura mountain range all his life. He joined Crozet ski club at the age of 6 and raced alpine. Colin then transitioned to telemark 5 years later. What was first a struggle, and a nightmare for a couple of years, turned out being a sport that he cannot turn his back on.

His coach in the club, as well as the regional committee, is his father who brought him to his first French cup in Auris-en-Oisan in 2012. A few years on, Colin became French U16 champion in classic at les Houches/Chamonix. During the 2015-2016 season, he took part in the World Cup telemark circuit, racing in Hintertux, Austria, les Contamines, France, and Mürren, Switzerland - ending the world cup season with top 30 results which gave him his first world cup points. In the French senior cup, he finished 6th in the overall classification.

When he is not skiing, he plays football for his club and beats the skins of his drumset. He also took part in the “Sonor" drum championships reaching the final.

He is studying at Loughborough University on a 4 year Mechanical engineering course.

Last season finished on a positive note in the French national telemark circuit, and he hopes to continue with that standard next year and bring it to the next level.
