Jack Nicholls Squad: British Cross Country Youth Squad Y.O.B: 1999 Club: Huntly Nordic Ski Club @jacknicholls1999 Career Highlights: 1st - Huntly Nordic Series, 2015 1st - Scottish Series, 2015 1st - British Roller Ski Series, 2015 7th - Fjälltopphelgen Bruksvallarna Race, SWE, 2015 I am a 16 year old British Cross Country Skier in the Youth Squad of the development program. I'm from London, England but moved to Scotland when I was 6 years old in 2006. Raised in the countryside I had lots of room to go running in the woods and skiing in the woods in the winter. I remember my skiing career beginning when I was taken along to a kids club night at a ski centre in the nearest town. In 2013 I had my first win and it didn't stop there, I am now the U18 Huntly, Scottish and GB series rollerski champion. I competed in my first international race in Bruksvallarna, Sweden in 2014 and came 11th with 6% off the winners time and came back in 2015 with a 7th place and being 2.8% off the winners time. Being the first Brit home both times. I am about to begin my first FIS international ski races around the world. I am aiming to qualify for the World Junior Championships and the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival this coming winter and hope to race for Great Britain as a Junior at the beginning of next year. My long-term goal is to represent Team GB at the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, China, in 2022.
