Jordan Fitzgerald

Jordan, born in London, grew up living in Sun Valley, Idaho and skiing for Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation. She graduated from Community School and the Sun Valley Ski Academy as part of the class of 2014. She has spent the last year training and racing in Europe, Canada, and the US with National Ski Academy from Ontario, CA.

She began skiing at age 4 and began racing at age 7, when her family moved to Sun Valley. Jordan races in the highly competitive USSA western regional conference, and has competed in every USSA Junior Olympics or U.S. National Championship in her age category. At the 2011 British Children’s Championships, Jordan placed 1st in Giant Slalom, winning the Hillend Salve perpetual trophy, and 2nd in Slalom. Jordan has won numerous awards and achieved her first F.I.S. race podiums in 2013. She has now raced at both F.I.S and NorAm levels. She will continue racing for University of British Columbia this coming year and intends to further represent GBR in her ski racing career at even higher levels.

In addition to skiing, Jordan plays soccer, enjoys most things outdoors, works with kids and also works as a videographer and website developer. She enjoys seeing new places and trying new things but loves being at home in Sun Valley with her family too!
