Katie Ormerod podiums at The Mile High in Australia

GB Park and Pipe snowboarder Katie Ormerod has claimed her first podium of the 2016 southern hemisphere winter season by taking 2nd place at The Mile High competition in Perisher, Australia. 

Within a world class field, Ormerod went into the semi finals in 2nd place, and continued her form to take 2nd place overall behind 16 year old Hailey Langland who claimed top spot. Japanese rider Miyabi Onitsuka took 3rd place.
