Famous First Words Fundraiser at the Ski Show for BSS athletes

British Ski and Snowboard are delighted to confirm that the live music experience and ultimate night out, Famous First Words, is coming to the Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show this October and will be raising money for the British Snowsports Fund – an initiative set up to support our future Winter Olympians.

Hosted and created by popular BBC TV, Disney XD and DAVE presenters Tim Warwood and Adam Gendle, Famous First Words is about stepping up and getting your time to shine. Singing the first line of a well-known song is all it takes to become a legend - putting not just a passionate, but technically correct performance that will allow you to bask in Famous First Words glory!

The money raised from tickets sold for the evening, which promises to be an après-ski highlight of the Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show, will all go to the British Snowsports Fund which raises money for British athletes – both those on the journey to PyeongChang 2018, and our future British ski and snowboard stars.

A night not to be missed, the Famous First Words British Ski and Snowboard Team Fundraiser is taking place in The Lodge after the show closes on Thursday 26th October 2017. Tickets purchased ahead of the event cost just £10 with all profits going to the British Snowsports Fund.

Expect to see some famous faces at the event – not just Tim and Gendle, but there is likely to be appearances from some of the current British Ski and Snowboard athletes. When Famous First Words came to the BRITS in Laax last April, GB Park and Pipe’s Katie Ormerod battled it out against her teammates to be crowned the FFW champion - prepare to get competitive!
