William first started skiing at the age of three on the Jura mountains in France. None of his relatives were ski racers, but he lived 3 minutes from a ski lift and spent every weekend on the slopes. At the age of eight he started ski racing for a french club team, St Genis Pouilly. William had lots of fantastic coaches who taught him a lot of the basics he still uses today.

At 11 years old, William then moved to the United States of America and skied at Okemo in Vermont. A school known as Burke Mountain Academy then caught his eye, and he decided to attend this fantastic ski academy - only 65 kids go to this school and everyone there loves to ski race. Throughout his high school career he was coached by a lot of great coaches and his skiing has progressed to a competitive level.

Having changed nation from USA to GBR for the 2017/18 season, and now a member of the U21 British Team, William intends to bring high goals and a new mindset for what lies ahead.
